Internship Positions
NARAL Pro-Choice New Hampshire believes in the power of the student voice! We recognize the need to train new pro-choice leaders and we are looking for interested pro-choice students to start an organizing campaign on their campus.
We will work with your college to get college credit for the internship.
An energetic personality and strong pro-choice stance are the only requirements.

Are you in or near Concord? Would you like to learn how to develop and implement educational and political campaigns on a state-wide level? Are you looking to learn how a nonprofit operates as a whole organization?
We are looking for college students committed to reproductive choice to take on general office duties while assisting with specialized projects for a semester or for a school year. Hours and dates are flexible, and no experience is required.
Assist us with:
- Direct mail preparations
- Communication Support
- Data Entry support
- Filing, photo copying, and faxing as needed
- Other general office duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Commitment to Pro-Choice values
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Some computer skills- Macintosh friendly a plus
- Organized and detail oriented
- Ability to work independently

8-15 hours per week
Supporter Survey:
- Help design on-line supporter survey on key policy priorities.
- Work with Communications Coordinator to deploy.
Website & Social Media Sites:
- Update website & social media sites as appropriate.
Newsletter:
- Assist with development and design of member newsletter.
- Write short articles. Choose, crop & tone photos. Layout member newsletter.
- Seek printing bids for newsletter and arrange printing.
- Learn process for completing a bulk mailing, including bulk mail sorting process and filling out paperwork.
- Recruit volunteers for newsletter mailing. Make reminder calls to volunteers.
- Supervise volunteers at mailing and bring mailing to bulk mail.
Skills:
- Strong policy interest.
- Classwork in Statistics and Survey Design.
- Ability to write concisely.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience creating and managing spreadsheets with Excel.
- Enjoys making phone calls.
- Ability to ask questions and take direction easily.
- Requires complete confidentiality.
- Work is done primarily in NPCNH office in Concord.

As a Membership and Development Intern you will:
- Assist in researching prospective Major Donors' giving interests and histories;
- Assist with the monthly renewal mailing
- Assist with appeal, acquisition and newsletter mailings;
- Assist with follow up phone banks to mailing campaigns;
- Assist in processing gift acknowledgements;
- Document membership and development processes;
- and Perform other general office duties as needed.
Specific Qualifications Include:
- Commitment to pro-choice values;
- General office experience;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Excellent computer skills – Macintosh friendly a plus;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
